Silvers born on 25 April 1980,
F6 Giselle Silver Mistral a female and
Giselle Silver Tehuantepec a male.
Their sire was Burlesque Brumas a Usual
who carried both Sorrel and Dilute. Brumas
was a popular stud cat for a group that
actively worked with “Unusuals” in the
1980s. Bred by Rob and Sally Watson,
he lived not only at Giselle, but before
this also at Jane & Peter Dytes’ Arboreal
cattery (see the history of hocolates &
Lilacs). Brumas ended his days with Gina
Saunders. After briefly being used as a
stud and he was neutered and given his
freedom in 20 acres of land.
F6 Giselle Silver Mistral went to Brenda
Marshall (Tiasti) where she had a number

in March 1982. Bred with a Usual,
Kingcup Berenice, a Usual Silver female
was born in April 1983, Adonesh
Silver Snowflake.
F8 Adonesh Silver Snowflake had a litter
with popular Fawn stud Barentu Castor,
producing Alanjan Bryony, a Usual
Silver female owned by Mrs Janet Robinson.
F9 Alanjan Bryony was bred with F8 Giselle Silver Suleiman (see before).
F9/10 Giselle Silver Cloud, a Blue
Silver male, was born from this breeding
on 28 September 1988.
F10 Giselle Silver Cloud was bred to
F10 Maylinc Sophie Stardust, a Sorrel
Silver, descended from F6 Giselle Sekmet
Shibu. Tony and Mary Lincoln (Maylinc)
were involved in “Unusual” breeding
in the 1980s & 90s. |
