Arboreal Blue Khalila lived with Brenda
Marshall (Tiasti) and had a number of litters
with Sorrel stud Eigerfell Soleil Royale. It is
this line that has gone on to produce many
Chocolate and Lilac cats. These colours
flourished in the 1980s and the genes
survive in both Abyssinians and Somalis
to this day
Her son Tiasti Lilac Meringue bred with
Tiasti Maiden, a Usual, to give F4 Tiasti
Lilac Patience a Lilac female.
With Linlinkye Faidros, a Usual that carried
dilute and sorrel, that was bred by Robyn Warren-Hurlock, Tiasti Lilac Patience
produced F5 Adivesh Lacy another Lilac
female born on 10 August 1986.

Miss Iris Wiseman bred Adivesh Lacy to
her own Usual male, Contented Valentino.
One of the resulting kittens, a Chocolate
female, F6 Contented Camilla was bred
with Abychat Blue Solo, Mrs Margaret
Eagland’s stud cat, starting a long
association of the Abychat prefix with
Chocolate and Lilac Abyssinians. |
