Lady Fayre, a Chocolate Siamese was bred
with Sorrel Abyssinian stud Barentu Red
Rudy by Peter and Jane Dyte. The date of
this is unknown but is likely to have been in
the mid 1970s.
F1 Arboreal Chocolate Katrina, a female
Chocolate Ticked Tabby came from this
breeding.
F2 Katrina was bred to Jane Dyte’s Fawn
stud cat Barentu McEwans Pale and
produced two females, Arboreal Chocolate Natasha and Arboreal Lilac Petronella, on 3 May 1977. Petronella does not seem
to have any recorded Chocolate or Lilac offspring, however
Natasha produced a litter with Usual stud
Burtenashan Karashahr on 26 September

1978. These were a Sorrel, Chilli Bon Bon,
two Usuals Highfidelity and Mitenka
Minskaya, and a Chocolate, Tobias
ChatAmour. None of these have recorded
descendants.
F2 Later Katrina was bred to Jane Dyte’s
Usual stud cat Burlesque Brumas who
carried Sorrel. Arboreal Blue Khalila was born on 10 January 1979, a Blue
Abyssinian that carried Chocolate.
F3 A litter of 6 kittens born on 6 May
1982, and sired by Eigerfell Soleil Royale,
included the Lilac male Tiasti Lilac
Meringue who was kept at stud by
Brenda Marshall.
